St. Francis High School Tree Dedication - May 11, 2013

A tree was planted in memory of Megan at St. Francis High School in front of the Spyglass Gym, which hosted many of her volleyball practices and games. The tree was donated by Bruss Landscaping, and the stone bench and plaque were donated by Megan's teammates from the St. Francis 2006 state championship team.

The dedication ceremony was attended by Megan's family and friends, coaches and teammates, current St. Francis volleyball players, and members of the St. Francis faculty. Michelle Kocher, Megan Barnicle, Lisa Fitzpatrick, Colleen Kocher, Paul Boken and Rick Butler shared stories and memories of Megan. All were invited to water the tree at the end of the ceremony.
